 | PLHS Instrumental Music Boosters | | As a standing committee of the Point Loma High School Foundation and Alumni Association, the Boosters provide financial assistance in support of the students enrolled in the Point Loma High School Band. Specifically, we help with uniform expenses, music purchases, competition registration fees, transportation, equipment, instrument repair, and other music related expenses. Boosters plan, organize and implement fund-raisers to benefit the music program, make decisions about how to spend the funds raised, provide parental support for marching and concert band activities and events, and work with the Band Director and the school principal to maintain continuity and encourage growth in the program from year to year. A copy of the organization bylaws is available here. We encourage all parents of students enrolled in the Instrumental Music program and all interested community members to become members of the Band Boosters. Band Boosters Meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Music Room.
